Your initial visit with Ponderosa Family Dental is all about your comfort, happiness, and health. 

During your first visit, we will:

• Review your dental and medical history forms
• Take X-rays of your teeth and mouth
• Clean and polish your teeth, checking your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis

Remember to bring your completed new patient forms, insurance card, and government ID. Creating a positive dental experience starts with a dental plan designed specifically for you, which helps achieve an overall healthier smile.  

The American Dental Association recommends a dental exam and cleaning every six months to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand a busy schedule, so please remember that your initial dental visit can last anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes.
